The Information Professional Center of Excellence at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) hosted an Information Professionals Senior Officer Course (IPSOC) in Monterey, CA. This course provided a forum for IP Senior Officers to improve skills for thinking strategically and developing innovative ways to address complex challenges resulting in transformation of our Navy’s warfighting capability ensuring the vision of Sea Power 21 becomes reality. The IPSOC stretched the participant’s boundaries for thinking and behaving, prepared senior officers for CIO-like jobs within the U.S. Navy, and set the stage for their continued professional development as potential Flag officers. The course was facilitated and coordinated by Frew & Associates.
